Concentric supports and promotes visual art rooted in intense emotions and experiences that are often hard to articulate. It is not an art critic; rather, it offers a unique opportunity for public exhibition, transforming streets into vibrant art galleries.
Adriana Cirloganu has joined the ranks of artists promoted by Concentric.
“For me, drawing began less as a conscious choice and more as a release after emotional short-circuits—a way to surrender to my feelings, to expel my breath through pencil and brush.
Not much has changed since then, and if too much time passes without drawing, I find myself yearning for it.”
“When I was young, my favorite artist was Turner. Then I studied Van Gogh and was captivated by the movement in his paintings—the wind rustling through leaves seemed to resonate within me. I later immersed myself in the works of Rothko, Francis Bacon, Goya, and William Blake. I identified with the despair in Baba’s paintings, the dystopia of George Mazilu, and the decadence in Ghenie’s art.”
Adriana Cirloganu graduated in Automation from Bucharest and works as an automation engineer. “Perhaps that also suggests I enjoy complicating my life.”
